My name is Karen Fagan and welcome to this website. I am a current PhD student with the University of Queensland and my research aims to explore the meanings that people give to their tattoos. In particular, I am interested in what people are saying about their social identity and belonging through their tattoos. Non-traditional tattoos are the focus of this project (e.g. not ‘tā moko’).
